RESCHEDULING OF PRE-NIT MEETING FOR MDO PROJECTS – MANDWA, MADHERI,  AND BHAGWANPUR COAL BLOCKS on Date: 21.08.2025 (Thursday-Time: 11:00 AM) 

Pre-NIT Meeting notice(s) regarding “To Develop and Operate the Mandwa Coal Block, Madheri Coal Block, and Bhagwanpur Coal Block” on MDO Mode, issued vide reference:

·         WCL/GM(CMC)/PRE-NIT/MDO/2025/285 dated 18.07.2025

·         WCL/GM(CMC)/PRE-NIT/MDO/2025/286 dated 18.07.2025

·         WCL/GM(CMC)/PRE-NIT/MDO/2025/287 dated 18.07.2025

It is hereby informed that the said Pre-NIT Meeting has been rescheduled and shall now be held as per the following details:

·         Date: 21.08.2025 (Thursday)

·         Time: 11:00 AM

·         Venue: Conference Room, WCL HQ, Coal Estate, Seminary Hills, Civil Lines, Nagpur-440001

Please note that discussions and deliberations for all three coal blocks—Mandwa, Madheri, and Bhagwanpur—shall be held simultaneously during the meeting.

All concerned stakeholders and prospective bidders are requested to make it convenient to attend the rescheduled meeting to suggest / making valuable note / inputs, for successful operation of the coal block, on following major aspects:

A.  To complete the exploration work,

B.   To prepare Geological report,

C.   To prepare Mining Plan and Detailed Project Report (DPR),

D.  To suggest suitable method for extraction of coal as per the annual capacity proposed in Mining plan/DPR,

E.   If the production capacity envisaged in Mining Plan/DPR is more than 2 MTPA then to suggest despatch through FMC (First Mile Connectivity concept) with Silo arrangement and in-pit crusher & conveying system for OB removal,

F.    To Quote Mining Charge per tonne basis,

G.  In addition to above any other relevant matter regarding operationalisation of the mentioned coal block.
